TEAM BUILDING OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES IN BARCELONA
The perfect day in nature for your team!
Outdoor Heroes offers unique team building and leadership experiences in nature, aimed at international and English-speaking company teams based in or around Barcelona.
All our activities take place in beautiful natural environments close to Barcelona, Catalonia and even abroad. This has a reason: it has been proven that the collective ability to solve problems significantly increases during activities outside!
The main goal: an interactive day full of fun! Our day programs take your team outside, away from the office, to strengthen collaboration and group cohesion, while teaching participants a new essential skill that they can then use to tackle challenges!
Former participants report greater trust and awareness within the team and increased personal confidence during outdoor activities.

Map, Compass, Teamwork
The most popular activity Outdoor Heroes offers is the Land Navigation experience, usually with some drinks or a wine tasting at Bouquet d'Alella to top it off! This activity is suited for teams looking to have an active day out.
In the morning participants get professional instruction on how to use the map and compass. In the afternoon they navigate a beautiful route through nature, with a slight competitive twist: the orientation challenge!
Participants are encouraged to think ahead together, use time strategically and make smart decisions. Along the way they gain valuable insights into how they work together and how they deal with challenges.
Upon return there will be time to evaluate the lessons learned. And what could be better than ending such an active day at a unique location, while enjoying a drink!
This and other activities can be fully customized and dressed up with optional extras, such as:
Transportation to and from the location,
Picnic-style lunch,
Drinks / Dinner.

Fire as a Liason
Fire making!
As a team building activity?! Yes indeed!
Fire is an essential element of survival and from an evolutionary perspective still strikes a deep chord as soon as it burns. Even the participants who beforehand expressed doubt they would like it, ignite with joy once they succeed in getting a fire lit. No one will underestimate the special force of fire after this day.

This activity repeatedly proves to be a powerful team building activity, bringing people together, breaking down barriers, exposing tolerance for frustration, and ultimately creating a shared sense of accomplishment.
Participants will learn the basics of fire making and safe knife use. They are guided through time and the ways human methods of fire making have developed. They get to try out some of these methods themselves and ultimately challenge each other in subgroups to see who masters the element of fire and burns through a rope fastest.
What begins with learning a seemingly primitive skill ends as an unforgettable experience in which cooperation, perseverance and fun come together. Old stories resurface and get shared, new stories emerge; laughter and connection is always the result.
This activity will resonate for a long time, both in memory and in interpersonal relationships.

Nature Walk
With new eyes
The Nature Walk is no ordinary walk, but a guided exploration where participants are invited to look at their surroundings with attention and wonder. Guided by an experienced guide, we slow down and sharpen the senses – listening to the rustling of leaves, feeling the texture of tree bark and learning about the subtle interactions between flora and fauna. Slowing down creates space for new observations, for curiosity, for connection with your surroundings, as well as with yourself.
This walk is designed to plant a lasting seed. In each instance participants leave the trail with a renewed perception of nature, and perhaps of themselves. And those who learn to look at nature with more awareness also usually learn to be more aware in life.
Are you looking for an outing in nature with a combination of the above, or something completely different? Please contact us! If it's outdoors, Outdoor Heroes can make it happen 99% of the time!

We ensure that everyone – regardless of age or condition – can participate actively and contribute meaningfully to the team.
Yes, we are fully mobile. While we have beautiful fixed locations in nature, we can host most survival and team building activities at your office grounds or an external meeting location of your choice.
Absolutely. In addition to our standard day programs, we can emphasize specific themes such as communication, leadership, or trust. We align the scenarios and reflection moments with the current challenges facing your team.
Our programs have no minimum group size. For groups of 14 or more, we work with additional instructors to ensure the personal guidance and safety that characterizes Outdoor Heroes. As for the maximum group size, we haven't found it yet.
Yes, it does! Our activities are 'all-weather', just as humans are meant to be. With the right mindset (and our clothing tips), a little rain often becomes a catalyst for team spirit and great stories afterwards. Should safety be compromised (e.g., storms or lightning), we will work with you to find an alternative date or location.
