You want to know more
Sutjeska National Park is famous for its large primeval forest, breathtaking views and ideal combination of nature and adventure.
Here you will also find Mount Maglić, with 2386 meters the highest mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The park extends to the border with Montenegro, where it merges into Natural Park Piva with the heart-shaped Trnovaćko Lake. Which we'll also visit!
The whole area has a unique ecosystem and is an important home for several (endemic) plant and animal species, including the ever-infamous wolf, brown bear and probably the (recently returned) lynx.
The outdoor trip to Sutjeska National Park is more than just a vacation in the Balkans, it is a unique experience that brings you closer to nature, reflecting on the importance of and sacrifices required for freedom, as well as having the time to have good conversations and make memories for life.
